Markle is best known for her breakout role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama “Suits,” which she starred in for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018.

She also appeared in several popular films including “Remember Me” and “Horrible Bosses.”

In 2017, amid her historic engagement to Prince Harry, Markle confirmed her decision to step back from her work in Hollywood to focus on royal life.

“It’s a new chapter, right?” she said of leaving her role on “Suits” while looking ahead to a new life.

“I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team,” she added.

After a few years of married life and welcoming their two children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, Markle launched her lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” on Netflix in March 2025.

The series ran for two seasons, but in January, Page Six exclusively revealed that it wouldn’t return for a third.

In November 2025, eight years after she stepped back from the big screen, Page Six reported that Markle was making her big return to acting.

She is set to make a cameo as herself in the upcoming Amazon MGM comedy “Close Personal Friends” with Brie Larson and Lily Collins.

“This is a massive moment for Meghan and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves,” a source from the Amazon MGM Studios production told the Sun at the time, noting that the mom of two “has been swamped with offers but this one felt right.”

“It is Meghan’s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set,” the insider continued. “Everyone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement.”

As for Harry, the source divulged that he was “really supportive” of her decision and “quite simply wants Meghan to do whatever brings her joy.”

On Wednesday, Page Six confirmed that the pair will return to the UK at the end of the month for “an extended period.”

The move comes six years after they announced they were stepping away from their duties as “senior” members of the royal family and moving to Montecito, California, in a move dubbed “Megxit.”

“The palace was made aware of the move,” a source told us, noting that King Charles III was told on Sunday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be returning to Britain.

“I know that Charles is the reason they are moving back,” an insider told Page Six.
