Gelato after dinner is a Carlton ritual, but Beku offers even more choice, with flavours such as durian, kalamansi and Milo inside silver pozzetti. The gelato shop distils ideas from South-East Asia to create smooth, creamy treats in cups and cones.
There are 20 flavours to try behind the royal blue heritage shopfront. Among them are staples such as teh tarik (sweetened Malaysian tea), hojicha (roasted green tea), coconut sorbet and Biscoff. Monthly specials are inspired by the neighbouring Turkish, Mexican and Japanese restaurants.
