The fourth eviction of the season on Big Brother just took place and another houseguest has been sent home.
During the August 6 episode, filmed live on the CBS lot in Los Angeles, Julie Chen Moonves hosted the live BB Blockbuster competition and then the live vote.
Big Brother airs three episodes every week, as well as a new episode of recap show Big Brother Unlocked every other week.
Haley was the Head of Household this week
Telemedicine executive Haley Thogmartin, 29, won the HOH competition this week and had to put three houseguests on the block for nomination to go home.
The three nominees were Taylor Brown, Melody Morris, and Drew Campbell.
Taylor won the power of veto and was able to take herself off the block. Haley‘s replacement nominee was Lyric.
Drew won the BB Blockbuster competition
Each Thursday night, there is a BB Blockbuster competition before the eviction. The three final nominees compete against each other for a chance to be saved.
Drew won and was taken off the nomination block, leaving the final two nominees as Melody and Lyric.
Lyric was evicted from the house
Lyric was evicted from the house by a vote of 8-3.
The three people to vote for her to stay were Kamu, Yash, and Chuk.
CBS has confirmed when the Big Brother finale will air this year.
