What will Taylor Swift’s wedding dress look like? Bridal experts share predictions

When Travis Kelce slipped a spectacular old mine diamond on Taylor Swift’s finger last summer, it sparked a run on engagement rings featuring antique stones and engraved bands — and turned jeweler Kindred Lubeck into a household name overnight.

Now, with the couple’s wedding just around the corner, whichever designer is lucky enough to dress the “Love Story” songwriter for her big day is poised to “start a whole trend” in much the same way, as Kleinfeld Bridal Director of Merchandising Dorothy Silver told Page Six Style.

“Taylor is a megastar. Much like when Selena Gomez or Hailey Bieber got married, I think brides will want to come in and emulate her style,” Silver said, adding that she and her team at the NYC wedding-wear mecca predict the music icon will “go classic, but still be fashionable” with her choice of ceremony gown.

“When she walks down the aisle, it’s going to be something that is an amazing, timeless gown,” Silver said.

While many brides feel overwhelmed by options while shopping for their wedding dress, this actually won’t be the first time Swift’s donned bridal white.

“I always think back to her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video where she wore one of our Kleinfeld designers, Nicole + Felicia. They made two dresses with a cascading floral design: a white wedding gown and a version in red,” Kleinfeld bridal stylist Morgan McCullough told us.

In 2021, the label’s Nicole and Felicia Chang told Page Six Style the white dress was “an artistic interpretation of a wedding gown — a design that is classic yet imaginative at the same time,” while the red “embodies the bold and vibrant spirit that Taylor has always had.”

Said McCullough, “I think about that dress a lot for Taylor in her bridal era — something soft and whimsical, feminine, but very classic as well. I really think that’s what she’ll do.”

One thing Swift might skip when she says “I do,” according to the Kleinfeld stylist? Her signature Easter eggs — obvious ones, at least.

“Taylor doesn’t really do Easter eggs about her personal life as much. That’s something that I actually really love about her — there is professional Taylor, the performer, and then there’s Taylor, the person,” McCullough noted.

“I think there may be something sentimental that only she and Travis know about, something that we may see but never really know what it means. Maybe it could be something passed down from her family, such as a piece from her mom or grandmother’s veil, or an item like that which can be sewn inside her dress. Or special initials embroidered inside her gown.”

It’s become common practice for brides (especially famous ones) to pull off multiple outfit changes on their wedding day; Jennifer Lopez and Swift’s pal Selena Gomez each commissioned a trio of Ralph Lauren dresses for their nuptials, while Lauren Sánchez married Jeff Bezos in looks from Dolce & Gabbana, Schiaparelli, Versace and more.

But while Swift could follow suit with a parade of bridal attire, McCullough suspects the 14-time Grammy winner might choose to keep things simple.

“The Eras Tour showed us that Taylor is the master of quick changes. She’s got it down to a science,” she said. “However, she’s also the type of person that seems she would want to be very present at her wedding, so she may not have too many outfit changes.”

No matter whether she wears one dress or 13, however, Swift’s wedding style is bound to be as romantic as the songs she writes.

“Since Taylor started making music, she has always included themes about love. For her to finally have this beautiful moment is something that’s massive for her, and I’m sure it’s something that she has had planned out since she was a child,” McCullough said.

Below, Silver and McCullough share several bridal looks they could envision on Swift.

“Alon Livné is another great designer that has some really beautiful classic looks with a very modern twist. It’s perfect for something she might want to change into for a lighter look.” Alon Livné/Courtesy of Kleinfeld Bridal
“Savannah Miller is another good option. Her sister is Sienna Miller, the actress, and Savannah does that very ’90s, Carolyn Bessette kind of feel that Taylor might want to change into at some point.” Savannah Miller/Courtesy of Kleinfeld Bridal
