The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is heading to streaming!

Peacock announced that the animated blockbuster will begin streaming exclusively on the platform on Thursday, July 30.

The movie is the second installment in the Super Mario franchise from Illumination, Nintendo, and Universal, following the massive success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, and Keegan-Michael Key all return for the sequel, with Brie Larson, Donald Glover, Glen Powell, and Benny Safdie joining the voice cast.

Here’s the official synopsis: The movie “finds Mario and Luigi solving everyday problems in the Mushroom Kingdom with their ‘let’s-a-go’ attitude. They meet a new friend in Yoshi, try to reform a miniaturized Bowser, and eagerly look forward to Peach’s birthday party. A call for help sends the crew across the galaxy to face new worlds, unexpected threats, and iconic characters like Rosalina and Bowser Jr.”

In addition to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Peacock will also stream The Super Mario Bros. Movie, giving fans the chance to watch both movies in one place. Add the movie to your watchlist here!

The streaming release will come with a full lineup of bonus content, including behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the movie, the voice cast, the film’s galaxy-spanning settings, its music, its power-ups, and hidden Easter eggs. One of the bonus features will also include a Seen on the Screen podcast episode with Brie Larson, who discusses her love of gaming and bringing Rosalina to life in the movie.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie became the first film of 2026 to cross the $1 billion mark at the box office.
