Taylor Swift Explains “Huge” 1,000-Person Guest List for Travis Kelce Wedding
Taylor Swift knows it’s so nice throwin’ big parties.
Before the Grammy winner tied the knot with Travis Kelce at their massive wedding—which reportedly boasted a 1,000-person guest list—at Madison Square Garden in New York City July 3, she shared insight into why she was always ready for it when it came to having a “huge” celebration.
“I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble,” Swift said during her appearance on The Graham Norton Show last October. “And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”
Rather than stressing about who should make the guest list, Swift opted to shake off any awkwardness amongst her peers by inviting “anyone I’ve ever talked to.”
“It’s like, ‘Oh, we had to have hung out eight times.’ It’s like, ‘On the bubble, we’ve hung out five times,’” she continued. “We don’t have to think about it. It’s going to be fun.”
