Sam Smith is sharing a glimpse behind-the-scenes on social media.
The 34-year-old “Stay With Me” singer-songwriter shared a selfie on their Instagram Thursday (July 30), going shirtless underneath a leather jacket.
Prior to the shirtless selfie, they shared a teaser of new song “Moondance” featuring Feist, featured on their upcoming album Hazel Eyes. Sam performed the song live during their intimate To Be Free concert residency at the Castro Theatre.
“I am so excited to bring this piece of work and music to you. An honest account of my life the last few years, and a sweet escape for anyone who needs it. I believe, after this record more than ever, that love is a cure and music is a sanctuary and honesty is my north star. I can’t wait to share it with you all. Thanks for sticking round all these years to listen,” Sam said of the forthcoming record, including lead single “My Guy.”
“For me, there’s something radical about being queer in this time, in this world, and singing love songs…I’m not going to allow the poison that I read and that I see to affect my way of loving,” Sam recently said of their music to the New York Times.
Sam just confirmed they’re engaged to designer Christian Cowan after three years of dating.
