Nickelback is back with new music!
The Canadian rock band – featuring members Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger, and Daniel Adair – has released their brand new single “Rattle the Cage” along with the music video to go along with it.
“We’re past the point of pain / With backs against the wall / Has to be the one and one for all,” the band sings. “We face another day / We raise the battle call / Rattle the cag? until it falls.”
“Rattle the Cage” is the first single off of Nickelback‘s upcoming 11th studio album, titled Everything Under the Sun, which the band will be dropping on October 30. The upcoming LP marks first full-length release since 2022’s Get Rollin’.
“This album has every side of the band on it,” Chad told People. “There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long.”
He continued, “‘Rattle the Cage’ felt like the perfect way to kick the door open — it has the energy we’ve been feeding off every night on stage, and we can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Back in 2023, this Grammy-winning singer defended Nickelback and their music.
