Oprah Winfrey made a rare appearance with her longtime partner Stedman Graham.
The 72-year-old media mogul’s partner, who is 75, made a brief appearance in a video she just posted celebrating the upcoming 40th anniversary of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Oprah commemorated the occasion with a video on social media, and she posted a lengthy caption about the accomplishment.
She shared, “I can’t believe that this September 8 marks 40 years since The Oprah Show debuted! And I heard that Ty Owens, who managed to keep the Harpo garage straight as parking manager, was bringing everyone who worked at Harpo together to celebrate—so I made my way to Chicago to join in on the memories.”
She continued, “Thank you, Ty, for your spirit of community and for bringing us all together. My gratitude to @thechefartsmith for having us at his restaurant, aptly called Reunion. To my Harpo crew, for being the greatest team ever! And to “all my children” who got raised from The Oprah Show by me, your mamas, and grandmamas, we’ll celebrate on the @oprahpodcast in September!”
The couple have been together around 40 years after meeting at a charity event in 1986.
In an interview, Oprah revealed the “most romantic” things she and Stedman do for each other.
