Nicola Coughlan is speaking out with a rare comment about her relationship with Jake Dunn.
The 39-year-old actress and the 26-year-old actor have been linked since August 2024, the same time that she was filming her new movie The Magic Faraway Tree.
In a recent interview, Nicola revealed that the couple didn’t have to spend time apart while she was on set!
“He actually was in Malta the whole time I was filming, so I can’t complain,” she told E! News. “He came for a visit and then stayed. He was on a break from filming at that time. He’s like, ‘I think I’m gonna stay.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, stay!’”
Nicola also shared that she wasn’t the only actor on set with significant others or family there.
“There was lots of little kids there, husbands, wives, friends,” she dished. “It’s a very happy memory, that time. It was lovely.”
Earlier this year, the Bridgerton star opened up about how they handle long-distance.
We try our best. I send him annoying videos all the time and then, you know, a lot of Facetime, but he’s super-busy. Before we were together, I just thought he was a really talented actor. But I love when people have their own stuff going on.”
