Cara Delevingne has a new song out now!

On Friday (June 26), the 33-year-old model, actress, and singer debuted her brand new single titled “Need It.”

“Bite me then eat me, I expand to fill / Run me then ruin me, I’ll bend to your will / Let me be just what you need and take me like a pill,” Cara sings. “Little me, cradle me, fork and spoon me till / Develop me, own me, act like you know me / Hang me up, and leave me to dry.”

Cara co-wrote the song with Fiona Apple, Tommy King, Victoria Ryann Zaro, Amelia Meath, and Brandon Joyner Burton.

In a press release, Cara talked about working with longtime friend and mentor Fiona on the song. If you didn’t know, Cara previously sang backup vocals on Fiona‘s 2020 album Fetch the Bolt Cutters

“She’s an absolute savant when it comes to portraying emotion and melody and lyric, and she was a big supporter of this album,” Cara gushed. “The song is a ‘dance banger’ that we wrote over text through Post-It notes that we would send each other.”

“Need It” is now the third song Cara has released as she launches her music career. She previously dropped her two interconnected songs “I Forgot” and “Out of my Head.”

Later this summer, Cara will be dropping her debut album.

In a recent interview, Cara revealed the exact drugs she was using before getting sober, why the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show wasn’t a “nice environment” for her, and so much more. Read more.
