Mike Vrabel was asked about the “balance of family and football” while addressing the media today.
If you don’t know, there has been a ton of attention on the 50-year-old head coach of the New England Patriots amid ties to NFL reporter Dianna Russini.
When asked about his family, Mike Vrabel gave a slight update on his wife, Jen
“My family is great. I love Jen, I love the boys,” he said.
Mike and Jen have been married since 1999 and share two sons, Tyler, 25, and Carter, 24.
About the team, he added, “This spring is focused on the coaching staff, the players, more importantly than the coaching staff, but you know, just seeing the coaches in the second year, just seeing how smooth the conversations are. ‘Hey, we love this play. How do we go out and make it better?’ And then these guys they go out and they find ways to make it better.”
What happened with Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini?
If you haven’t been following, a big scandal broke earlier this Spring when they were seen in photos together at an Arizona resort, supposedly taken in 2026. They both denied any romantic involvement at the time. Dianna got married in 2020 and Mike has been married since 1999.
Since then, photos of them appearing to kiss – from 2020 – emerged, and he admitted to having “difficult conversations” with his family. He even skipped part of the NFL draft in order to “seek counseling.”
