Lil Wayne is opening up about being left out of major events.

On Saturday morning (April 18), the 43-year-old “A Milli” rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., took to X where he spoke candidly about being “uninvited & uninvolved” from big events like Coachella and the Grammys.

Keep reading to find out more…“It’s truly a humbling experience when events like Coachella & the Grammys come around & like clockwork, I’m uninvited & uninvolved,” Lil Wayne tweeted.

He then went on to share his support for his fans, who have always stuck by him.

“I appreciate my position or space I hold in ya heart & mind if so [because] you’re the humbling experience that’s timeless & [for that] I [thank] u,” he wrote, adding, “I aint s–t without u.”

Lil Wayne‘s new comments come nearly two years after he admitted that he was not very happy that he wasn’t chosen to the headline the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, which took place in New Orleans, where he was born and raised.
