Mortal Kombat 2 star Lewis Tan is stepping out with someone special!
The 38-year-old actor made his red carpet debut with his stunning new girlfriend, actress Julie Chen, at the London premiere of his new movie Mortal Kombat 2 on Thursday (April 30).
The couple posed for photos together as they celebrated the upcoming release of the highly anticipated sequel, which was filmed in Australia. Lewis once again took on intense action scenes for the film and performed all of his own stunts and martial arts.
Julie is best known for starring opposite Marion Cotillard in Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom, and she looked just as radiant on the red carpet alongside Lewis for their big debut as a couple.
Sources exclusively tell Just Jared that the two have been “quietly dating for a few months” and “met through the Muy Thai boxing scene in Thailand,” bonding over their shared passion for martial arts.
Mortal Kombat 2 hits theaters on May 8. Until then, fans can stream previous films in the franchise on HBO Max, including 1995’s Mortal Kombat, 1997’s Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and 2021’s Mortal Kombat.
