Jessica Simpson is explaining the viral story her ex husband Nick Lachey told.
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live! last week, the 52-year-old 98 Degrees singer bumped into his ex while they were on the same flight to Hawaii.
Nick claimed that he noticed Jessica sat in a “separate class of service” from her three kids, insinuating she was in first class while her children were in economy.

Page Six caught Jessica out and about and asked her for an explanation.
“My mom bought those tickets,” Jessica shared of the reason why her kids were in a different class.
She then further explained that she did not buy the tickets. She said, “It was my mom’s treat for us to go to Hawaii.”
She was then asked if she had bought the tickets herself, if she would have sat with her kids. Her response? “Of course.”

Jessica shares son Ace, 12, and two daughters, Maxwell, 14, and Birdie, 7, with Eric Johnson. The pair married in 2014 and they announced their separation in January 2025.
By the way, back in 2021, Nick had a very blunt answer when asked if he read Jessica‘s memoir.
