Jason Kelce is impressed by the lengths brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift went through to keep their wedding private.
Over Fourth of July weekend, the superstar couple married in front of 1,000 guests inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
While many details about the nuptials have remained private, it has already been revealed that Jason, 38, served as the Best Man for the 36-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end. (The 36-year-old “Opalite” singer’s brother Austin Swift was her Man of Honor.)
During an appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP on Thursday (July 30), Jason admitted that he’s shocked no photos from the couple’s wedding have been leaked.
“I haven’t seen any legitimate photos really from the wedding,” Jason said. “It’s remarkable.”
“There were a thousand people inside Madison Square Garden,” he continued, calling his brother’s wedding “the biggest wedding, probably, I’ve ever attended for sure, and there’s really not a lot out there.”
Jason then joked “Yeah, I’m ruining that right now” when the the SportsRadio host complimented the newlywed’s ability to keep details about the wedding private.
“I think, this is obviously an effort by Travis and Taylor to really try and make this as intimate of a moment as possible,” he added.
The retired Philadelphia Eagles player then addressed the “backlash” Taylor and Travis have faced for getting married at Madison Square Garden, but said that “It didn’t feel like Madison Square [Garden].”
“They did a great job of, like, finding an area that could be very secure, some place that, you know, they would be able to have this kind of control over it while also feeling intimate and really special,” Jason explained. “It was incredibly done.”
