Jack Antonoff had a funny and slightly awkward moment while dodging a question about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumored future wedding plans.
The 42-year-old music producer appeared on Today on Friday (May 22), where co-anchor Craig Melvin tried to get a little information out of him by asking whether he had plans to attend “any big weddings” this summer.
“I hope. Yeah, I hope so, man,” Jack replied with a smile.
Craig then followed up by asking where Jack might be headed, but the producer quickly shut the conversation down with a laugh.
“Oh, no, no, no,” Jack said, immediately pivoting away from the topic.
Instead, Jack smoothly redirected the conversation by saying, “Yeah, I love being married, man. I’m happy you love it too.”
Craig jokingly responded, “That’s all you’re gonna give me, huh?”
“Did we just have a moment?” Jack replied with a smirk.
During the appearance, Jack also performed with his band Bleachers, including the song “Dirty Wedding Dress,” which was inspired by his marriage to Margaret Qualley.
Taylor and Jack have collaborated closely for more than a decade. Their working relationship began with Taylor’s 2013 song “Sweeter Than Fiction,” before Jack went on to work extensively on albums including 1989 and many of Taylor’s later projects.
Jack isn’t the first celebrity to face questions about a possible Taylor and Travis wedding. Taylor’s Eras Tour opener Maisie Peters recently addressed the invitation speculation as well.
