The cause of death for TikTok’er Emilie Kiser‘s son has been publicly disclosed.
The 27-year-old infleuncer’s son, three-year-old Trigg Kiser, sadly died in a pool accident in May 2025.
How did Trigg Kiser pass away?
The Maricopa County medical examiner released the official report over a year after the toddler’s passing.
His official cause of death is listed as “anoxic brain injury due to drowning,” People reports. The document confirms that he passed via drowning “in a residential pool” and the manner of death was listed as an accident.
Emilie Kiser was not home when the drowning occurred. Her husband, Brady, was watching their son Teddy, now 17 months, when Trigg got into the pool.
The police report shared that Trigg “was in the backyard unsupervised for more than nine minutes, and in the water for about seven of those minutes.”
Emilie Kiser broke her silence on the tragedy last year
“Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words. I’ve spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I’ve needed to digest the loss of my baby,” Emilie wrote on her TikTok account last year.
Emilie‘s statement continued, “Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful, and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable.”
“Moving forward, I will be establishing more boundaries with what I share online. In the future, I hope to be in a place to share more about how I am navigating this grief, but right now, all I can say is thank you for the love, compassion, patience and space you’ve given us to grieve. I am more grateful for it than can ever be expressed,” Emilie wrote.
