President Donald Trump is once again visiting the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for the third time in less than a year amid growing speculation about his health.

The White House says the visit is routine

The 79-year-old President of the United States went for a “routine annual dental and medical assessment” on Tuesday (May 26), according to the White House.

The visit comes amid concerns regarding the bruising on his hands and makeup on mysterious rashes in recent months.

This marks another Walter Reed visit during his second administration

The White House said this visit is part of his “regular preventative health care,” via The Hill. He will reportedly greet service members and staff at the medical center while he’s there.

On the same day, Trump boasted about the size of the Lincoln reflecting pool being larger than U.S. skyscrapers.

One day before, he spoke at the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

Online speculation about Trump’s health has continued

Overall, this is his fourth publicly disclosed medical exam during his second administration, following a “secondary” physical exam and cognitive test in October. He also got an ultrasound of his veins last July, resulting in a chronic venous insufficiency diagnosis.

Back in April, The White House responded to rumors that the President had fallen ill or was receiving treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center. Questions about his health arose after he went several days without making a public appearance.

The bruising on his hand has been attributed to him shaking hands with too many people.

During an interview with The Wall Street JournalTrump commented on his skin and said that he was once left with a nick on his hand after catching his skin on former Attorney General Pam Bondi‘s ring.

The president described makeup as a quick fix that is “easy to put on” and “takes about 10 seconds.”

In January, he spoke candidly about one medical decision that he underwent on the recommendations of his doctor. He explained that going through with it was “the worst f—— thing I ever did.”
