Connor Storrie is now an Emmy nominee.

The 26-year-old actor was officially announced as one of the nominees amid the Emmy nominations ceremony on Wednesday (July 8) – although it wasn’t for his massively popular Crave series Heated Rivalry, which is not eligible for Emmys consideration.

Instead, he was nominated for his hosting gig on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Connor hosted the show back in February, earning him rave reviews for several hilarious sketches throughout the evening, including a stripper hit by a car, which was an idea he originated in clown school.

“I’ve only technically been a professional actor for like six months now. But on the other hand, I’ve been preparing for this my entire life,” he said during his opening monologue. He also jokingly referenced his hit hockey series, saying that “some of you may have seen literally all of me.”

“I really did not know if this would ever to happen to me, and when I got the call that I was going to be on ‘SNL,’ I honestly cried,” he told the audience.

You can watch every skit from his SNL hosting debut right here.

The 2026 Emmy Award nominations have been officially announced, and you can see the full list of nominees right here. The awards ceremony is set to take place on Sunday (September 14) on NBC, and Mariska Hargitay will be taking on hosting duties.
