Former New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick‘s daughter-in-law appears to be having some legal issues.
Jen, who is married to Bill‘s son Steve Belichick, apparently failed to appear in court last week.
According to reports, Jen was stopped by police while driving on May 21, 2026. It was a misdemeanor speeding issue, where she was allegedly going 88 MPH in a 70 MPH zone.
As a result, she had to appear before a judge in North Carolina on Friday (July 10). She allegedly did not appear. The arrest warrant was then supposedly issued on Monday (July 13). According to the New York Post, she now has a few options. She can “file a motion to recall the order, hire an attorney to handle the matter for her, or turn herself in.”
By the way, Bill Belichick is the head football coach at the University of North Carolina after spending more than two decades leading the New England Patriots. His son, Steve, is also a coach and currently serves as UNC’s defensive coordinator.
