Nathan Gallagher was arrested on domestic violence charges stemming from an incident last December.
The current Below Deck Mediterranean star was arrested on December 27, 2025, in Sydney, Australia, and charged with “assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally chok[ing a] person without consent, and common assault,” according to New South Wales Police, via Rolling Stone.
The alleged incident reportedly occurred shortly after Christmas Day, with the reality star assaulting an unnamed 29-year-old woman at a Sydney-area apartment complex.
There are no reports of serious injuries suffered by either party, and he was eventually granted conditional bail. It is unknown how Nathan pleaded to the charges.
While not named in the report, Nathan‘s seemingly former partner Gael Cameron, and mother to their young son, appears to be the 29-year-old woman, as she was the subject of an Apprehended Violence Application in a court case that was filed on her behalf.
A hearing has been set for September 1st.
It was revealed in April 2025 that Nathan and Gael were expecting their first child together, and she gave birth in June.
Below Deck Mediterranean season 11 is currently airing on Bravo, and Gael has made a couple of appearances as she temporarily moved to Croatia near the port where the crew docks, so Nathan could visit her and their son between charters.
On the show, Nathan had to leave mid-charter recently with back pain. Captain Sandy sent him to the doctor to get an MRI, and he called to say he couldn’t go on the next charter and was ordered to rest. He did not appear on this week’s episode, but is slated to return in the future.
Below Deck Med has already been renewed for a 12th season, and filming is currently underway, though it’s unclear if Nathan is returning.
