MrBeast is teasing some new details about the upcoming third season of his hit series, Beast Games.
The 28-year-old YouTuber made an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, which aired on Thursday (July 16).
During the conversation with Joe Rogan, MrBeast teased what to expect on Season 3 of the hit Prime Video competition series.
“I’m really proud of what we did for Season 3 of Beast Games, which, in hindsight, I’m not even sure how we pulled off,” he began.
“I want to see your reaction to this. Basically, the finale where we have the $5 million, we have the final contestants… we filmed it in the Roman Colosseum. We crowned the winner of Season 3 with the $5 million cash prize in the middle of the Roman Colosseum. Played the first game there in over a thousand years,” he revealed.
“I’m so grateful. We just filmed that too, so I’m coming off the high and it almost gives me tears. What we shot was so cool. We had a live orchestra at the top ring of there too. So as the game got dramatic, we would have them play louder music and stuff. It was so surreal,” MrBeast said.
“Because I’ve done really crazy things in my life, but there were multiple moments during that where I’m just looking around in the middle of the Colosseum as we’re filming the show and I’m like, ‘This doesn’t feel real.’ It was pretty wild.”
“I did a lot of research before we filmed there,” he went on to say.
“Back then they had the hierarchy, and the noble people would sit at the bottom and the poor people would be at the top. It also played a good role of showcasing unity. Even though there were all these different people from all these different economic statuses, they would all be in the arena there. But it also reminded them where they are, and there are so many political implications of it too,” he added. Watch above.
