Anna Nicole Smith’s look-alike daughter, Dannielynn, showed off a dramatic “goth-rock” look as she kicked off Kentucky Derby 2026 celebrations.
The 19-year-old swapped out her usual long, blond hair for a platinum pixie cut with black tips as she attended the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve party with dad Larry Birkhead on Friday.
Larry, 53, shared an Instagram photo of the duo posing together in matching black outfits at the red carpet ahead of the gala.
He also posted a close-up snapshot of Dannielynn rocking her new hairstyle along with a black Punk Rave Gothic Dress.
“Dannielynn is rocking a fresh cut and “goth-rock” style,” Larry wrote in his caption.
The photographer also said his teen daughter “insisted I get in on the theme” by wearing his black Phillipp Plein jacket.
“Looking forward to a great time for a great cause,” he added.
In an interview with People, Larry proudly gushed that Dannielynn is “coming into her own.”
As for her new hairstyle, Larry said Dannielynn told him “she wanted something edgy and cool,” so she got one of her late mom’s hairstylist friend to make it happen.
“She chopped it all off and put some wild colors in it,” Larry told People. “I was kind of bracing myself at the hair salon. I guess she’s at the age to do what she wants to do.”
Larry explained that he’s extra proud of her daughter for going through with the “total style change” after typically choosing to recreate her late mom’s iconic looks.
“This is kind of Dannielynn showing off her own sense of style and she said it’s a goth rock theme,” he shared.
The father-daughter duo are staples at the Kentucky Derby.

Last year, Dannielynn attended the Kentucky Derby in a light blue strapless tulle dress and donned a short blond hairdo.
She also honored her late mom by wearing Smith’s gold jewelry.
Larry and Smith welcomed Dannielynn in September 2006.
When Dannielynn was only five months old, Smith died from a drug overdose in February 2007. The former Playboy model was 39.
Larry has since raised Dannielynn as a single father.
He told People last year that his daughter was heading to college soon and interested in pursuing modeling and acting — just like Smith.
“I have mixed feelings about it,” Larry admitted, “but I want to be supportive.”
He added, “It’s my job to be a supportive parent. I don’t want to be a stage parent. I’ll be a supportive parent.”
