The cast of Heroes is reuniting for a somber reason.

Why did the cast of Heroes reunite?

Stars of the hit superhero series gathered together for a celebration of life in honor of Hayden Panettiere, who tragically passed away on August 16.

Jimmy Jean-Louis, who played The Haitian in the NBC show, shared photos from the reunion on social media.

“A Heroes reunion to celebrate the life of HAYDEN was deeply emotional,” he wrote.

There was sadness in our hearts, but also so much love, gratitude, and warmth as we remembered the beautiful moments shared and the lasting impact of a life that touched so many. Au revoir, Hayden.”
