Amy Madigan is a favorite to win an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category this year and she might be winning one ahead of husband Ed Harris!
The 75-year-old actress is nominated for her work in the horror film Weapons and many believe this year long-overdue recognition after years of extraordinary work.
Amy previously was nominated for her work in the 1985 movie Twice in a Lifetime, giving her a 40-year gap between nominations. This is the longest gap between nominations for an actress.
If Amy is called to the stage as the winner, you expect to see her next to Ed in the audience.

Amy and Ed have been married since 1983 and share 32-year-old daughter Lily Harris.
“We just love each other and we work really hard at that and in our work,” she told People, adding they “don’t have” a trick to making it work.
She also opened up about her role as Aunt Gladys in Weapons, and what her husband thought of the role.
“He loved it. He’s known me a long time and he saw all the parts of myself melded into Aunt Gladys. So, I have a very supportive family, my daughter also, so I’m very lucky,” she said.
As for her family’s support, she said: “They’re just saying, ‘You can do it. Hang in there.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t want to get hair and makeup done again,’ and they’re like, ‘It’s okay.’”
Ed has four Oscar nominations to his name. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in 1996 for Apollo 13, Best Supporting Actor in 1999 for The Truman Show, Best Actor in 2001 for Pollock, and Best Supporting Actor in 2003 for The Hours.
Amy did something totally iconic while winning at the Actor Awards.
