Central Cee is making history.
The 27-year-old rapper just won big at the MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin Awards) by taking the Best Hip-hop Act award, tying Stormzy to become the most awarded MOBO winner in history over the weekend.
He also became the first artist to be named best male act three times.
Alongside the wins, he just released the video for “Wagwan” from his new EP, ALL ROADS LEAD HOME.

The accompanying music video was shot in the south of France.
The new EP “captures Central Cee at a pivotal moment in his career, balancing global ambition with a return to his roots. Across seven tracks, the EP blends introspection with sharp lyricism and genre-fluid production, reinforcing his position at the forefront of British rap’s global evolution,” per the official release.
In response to his new MOBOS record, the rapper – who did not attend the ceremony – posted a screenshot with the comment “that’s nice.”
“Wagwan? I ain’t seen shorty in a minute / She asked how I am, I said, ‘Calm’ / She said I’m the man, I said, ‘Innit?’ / Posted up with my darg at yard / If you got a friend for my friend, then bring it / When I was broke, heart cold like December / But now I’m up, my step got a spring in,” he raps.
If you didn’t know, “wagwan” is an informal greeting from Jamaican Creole, meaning “what’s going on?” or “What’s up?”
The track was produced by GUSTO and LukasBL.
He just released his debut album Can’t Rush Greatness in 2025, which made multiple “Best Of” lists at the end of the year, and debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.
