The man, who had secured employment on August 12 after nearly seven years of unemployment, says he was abruptly fired after false allegations were made against him by someone from his community.
The claims linked him to a past murder case in Kekana and alleged misconduct (sexual misconduct) with a manager—accusations he strongly denies.
He says he was not given an opportunity to share his side of the story with the store HR manager before being terminated with immediate effect, prompting residents to rally in his support and call for justice.
