American tennis star Sachia Vickery has been making headlines after revealing that her OnlyFans venture is helping to fund her career on the court.
Speaking after her second-round qualifying loss to Germany’s Ella Seidel at the US Open, the 30-year-old athlete explained that joining the subscription-based platform has given her financial freedom while allowing her to continue pursuing tennis at a high level.
“I don’t see anything negative about it—it’s given me a better life,” Vickery told The Post from Flushing Meadows.
She noted that while her career has been successful—earning around $3 million over 14 years and once reaching a career-high ranking of world No. 73—professional tennis comes with enormous expenses.
“Tennis is extremely costly. Players can spend over $100,000 a year on coaches, hotels, food, training, and physio. Even with good investments, it’s tough to cover everything. If there’s another avenue that allows me to earn and put that money back into my career, I don’t see a problem with it,” she explained.
Currently ranked world No. 559, Vickery emphasized that her OnlyFans income isn’t just about making money—it’s about sustaining her dream. “People assume I’m doing it just for the sake of it, but really, it’s a smart investment. It allows me to keep competing and living better. If I can earn well through it, why wouldn’t I?”
