Kyle Richards reportedly sued her older sister Kim Richards to boot the sibling from her Los Angeles condo last year.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star filed the surprising lawsuit against Kim in January 2025, according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Saturday,
Kyle, 57, claimed that Kim, 61, had been living in her two-bedroom Encino, California, home for years and alleged that she first asked the “Witch Mountain” star to leave in late 2024.
But Kim allegedly never responded to the initial lawsuit, and a default judgment was ultimately entered in March 2025 ordering Kim to surrender the property.
Additional court documents obtained by the outlet, dated June 2025, found that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office tried to serve Kim with the judgment.
However, she allegedly moved out of the Encino pad before she could be served.
Reps for Kyle and Kim did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Kim starred alongside her fellow reality star sister in “RHOBH” for the Bravo hit’s first five seasons from 2010 to 2015.
Although she stepped back as a full-time housewife due to personal struggles after Season 5, Kim has returned in several subsequent seasons.
Meanwhile, Kyle has remained a housewife and is the only original cast member to still star on the beloved franchise since its premiere 16 years ago.
The pair’s other sister, 67-year-old Kathy Hilton, has also appeared on “RHOBH” as a “friend of” the cast.
Kim made headlines in 2024 when she was reportedly placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold following a substance abuse relapse.
While Kim has not publicly addressed her substance abuse struggles, both Kyle and Kathy have in recent years.
“Kim and I have never had issues or anything,” Kathy told Us Weekly in October 2024. “She is going through a tough time, and she’s doing better now.”
As for Kyle, she told Page Six that she and Kathy were trying their best to support Kim during a chat that same month.
“You know, we are a family, [so] when something’s going on with one of us, we all sort of stick together and circle around each other and try to be there and lift each other up,” she told us.
“So that’s what I’ve been trying to do,” Kyle continued. “Of course, you never want to show the most difficult parts of your life, but I don’t have that luxury.”
