Mikayla Nogueira is speaking out about her accent.
The 27-year-old beauty influencer and POV Beauty founder uploaded a video to TikTok on Monday (March 2), in which she spoke to her new followers.
Mikayla said that she got a lot of new people coming to her page, which comes after her now-viral divorce announcement.

In the video, she also addressed her thick Boston accent and ongoing speculation that her accent was either entirely fake or exaggerated.
“Do I actually have an accent? Yes,” the Freetown, Mass. native said.
“Do I exaggerate it in my videos? Also yes.”
She added that her dad’s accent is “wicked strong.”
“I am a Masshole, through and through,” Mikayla went on to say.
Mikayla also addressed her separation.
“I’m just totally myself and a lover girl — a hopeless romantic. I do a lot of research on love languages. Did I have a failed marriage? I did. But I’m not giving up on love,” she said. Watch above.
