Matthew McConaughey makes The Lost Bus premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival a family affair on Friday night (September 5) Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto.
The 55-year-old star of the upcoming movie was joined by his son Levi and mom Kay, who are both in the movie, as well as his wife Camila Alves McConaughey.
Also stepping out were his co-stars America Ferrera with husband Ryan Piers Williams, Yul Vazquez with wife Linda Larkin, and Ashlie Atkinson, as well as writer/director Paul Greengrass and producers Jamie Lee Curtis and Jason Blum.

The Lost Bus is based on real events and adapted from Lizzie Johnson’s non-fiction book, “Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire.” It is described as “a white-knuckle ride through one of America’s deadliest wildfires as a wayward school bus driver (Matthew McConaughey) and a dedicated school teacher (Ferrera) battle to save 22 children from the terrifying inferno.
The upcoming movie is slated to hit theaters on September 19th, and streams on Apple TV+ on October 3rd.
