Jannik Sinner just secured his spot in the 2025 US Open Men’s Singles final on Friday night (September 5) at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City.
The 24-year-old Italian tennis star defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in the Men’s Semifinal on day 13 of the tennis event to advance to the next round.
Jannik will now play against Carlos Alcaraz, after he defeated Novak Djokic earlier in the day.
This will mark a rematch for Jannik and Carlos, who have played against each other in the last two Grand Slam finals.

Jannik last secured the win at Wimbledon back in mid-July, while Carlos picked up the win at Roland Garros (French Open) the month before.

Should Jannik win the US Open this year, it will mark his second year in a row. Carlos previously won the tournament in 2022 for his first major Grand Slam title.
