Ella Bleu Travolta and dad John Travolta are teaming up for another movie!
On Monday (October 20), it was announced that the 25-year-old actress and singer will be starring alongside the 71-year-old Oscar-nominated actor and Melissa Barerra in the upcoming action survival thriller Black Tides from director Renny Harlin about “rogue orcas.”
Keep reading to find out more…Written by Chris Sparling and Ángel Agudo, the movie “follows Bill Pierce (Travolta), an estranged father trying to reconnect with his daughter Rebecca (Barrera) and grandson Sebastian (Dylan Torrell) when their sailboat is attacked by rogue orcas off the southern Spanish coast—setting off a fight for survival across open waters,” according to Deadline.
Black Tides has officially begun principal photography in Gran Canaria, Spain.
This is now the third movie that Ella will star in with John. They previously worked together on 2019′s The Poison Rose and 2009′s Old Dogs.
Over the summer, John was nearly unrecognizable as a real-life mobster on set of another movie he’s working on.
