Several comedians are facing backlash for their decision to perform in Saudi Arabia.
Stars like Dave Chappelle, Whitney Cummings, Pete Davidson, Kevin Hart and Aziz Ansari are set to perform during the first-ever Riyadh Comedy Festival in the country, happening from September 26 to October 9.
Other comedians set to appear are Louis C.K., Whitney Cummings, Wayne Brady, Jessica Kirson and Jeff Ross.
Several huge names in the comedy world have since called them out for accepting the gig, considering the country’s human rights violations and free speech controversies.
