Simone Ashley is making her music debut!
The 31-year-old actress, who plays Kathani “Kate” Bridgerton (née Sharma) in the hit Netflix TV series Bridgerton, confirmed the exciting news of her music debut on her social media on Tuesday (March 31).
Simone shared the release date for her debut single, along with a behind-the-scenes teaser clip of her recording the new music.
“Here we go. 10th April,” she captioned the post.

There are no details just yet about the song title or what kind of genre, but fans flooded her comments with well-wishes and excited comments anticipating her debut.
Simone will also star alongside Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada 2, and is expected to return for Bridgerton Season 5.
While this is her own debut, she did release the song “Cool to Be Kind” on The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland soundtrack. We can’t wait to hear it!
