Billy Porter is opening up about Prince William supported him during his time of need.
Back in September, the 65-year-old Emmy, Grammy, and Tony winner was forced to exit Cabaret on Broadway early after he was diagnosed with sepsis.
In a new interview, Billy revealed that the 43-year-old Prince of Wales sent him a card when he learned that the Pose actor was sick.
Keep reading to find out more…“He heard that I was ill, and he sent me a get-well card,” Billy told Hello! magazine. “That’s the kind of human being he is.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Sepsis is a serious condition in which the body responds improperly to an infection. The infection-fighting processes turn on the body, causing the organs to work poorly.”
If you didn’t know, Billy teamed up with William in November 2024 when he co-hosted the heir to the British throne’s Earthshot Prize Awards in Cape Town, South Africa.
