Wynonna Judd‘s daughter Grace Kelley is currently serving time behind bars while pregnant.
The 62-year-old singer’s 30-year-old daughter has been serving a 15-month sentence in Harrisonburg, Va., after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. The charge stems from an October 2025 arrest.
In early July, Grace‘s legal team revealed that she was expecting to give birth to her second child around August 16th with a scheduled C-section, according to People. Her lawyer requested a temporary release so she could deliver her child, as she will be required to be “confined to bed” for three days.
The lawyer argued that not granting the temporary release would “complicate the delivery of the child, which must be performed in a sterile operating room; prevent the child’s father from being present at the birth; [and] prevent the father and other family members from visiting [Kelley] before and after the child’s birth.”
However, the request was denied by a judge in a July 16th hearing, which Grace attended virtually.
Grace is also a mom to her daughter Kaliyah, 4, but her mom, Wynonna, has custody, and Grace has had no contact in years.
In an August 2025 interview, Grace said her mom has “done some messed up stuff,” and their relationship got worse over the years.
She also claimed Wynonna had a restraining order that banned Grace from contacting or seeing both her mom and her daughter. At the time, Grace said it had been “a couple of years” since she saw her daughter.
Prior to her 2025 arrest, Grace had had several run-ins with the law, including an April 2024 arrest for indecent exposure on a highway, and later that year, she was arrested for stealing a church van.
