
Beyoncé is paying tribute to the late Dolly Parton.
The 80-year-old country music icon passed away on Tuesday (August 25), following a year of health issues and a brief battle with cancer.
Beyoncé, who worked with Dolly on three Cowboy Carter tracks, took to her website to honor her late collaborator.

Beyoncé and Dolly Parton collaborated on three Cowboy Carter tracks
In 2024, Beyoncé released her Act II album, Cowboy Carter, with Dolly featured on three songs.
The country album featured some legendary voices in the genre, with one interlude track titled “Dolly P.” The next song featured Beyoncé‘s cover of Dolly‘s hit “Jolene,” which included some reworked lyrics.
Later in the album, Beyoncé and Dolly teamed up for the song “Tyrant,” which featured an intro by the two singers.
Following the sad news of Dolly‘s passing, many celebrities have been paying tribute to the late icon.
