There’s a sequel to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days in the works, and Kate Hudson is allegedly going to produce!
And there’s some even more exciting news that is being reported.

A new report says that the intention is to have Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson reprise their roles
Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson co-starred in the 2003 romantic comedy as Benjamin Barry and Andie Anderson, and Variety reports that there’s hope they will reprise their roles in the new movie.
The original had the following logline: “An advertising executive and ladies’ man, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days.”

The film is still in the very early stages of development and still seeking a screenwriter, so it’s unclear what the roles will actually be in the new movie.
Kate Hudson previously revealed if she’d do a sequel
“All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I were into the script,” she once said, via Variety. “I think we’re both totally open; it has just never happened.”
There has been talk of a sequel before, and Kate has even had an idea about where the couple would be all these years later.
