What Time Does the NASCAR Race Start Today?

Coverage of the Dollar Tree 301 begins at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The green flag is expected at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET, according to New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The race consists of 301 laps covering 318.46 miles around the 1.058-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway oval.

Why Was the NASCAR Race Start Time Changed?

The Dollar Tree 301 was originally scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET, but officials moved the race up by one hour due to the threat of inclement weather.

Sunday’s forecast calls for the possibility of rain and thunderstorms later in the afternoon. NASCAR teams will have four sets of wet-weather tires available for the race weekend, according to NASCAR.

What Channel Is the NASCAR Race on Today?

The Dollar Tree 301 will air live on USA Network. Fans can also stream the race on HBO Max with a paid subscription.

Audio coverage will be available through PRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Channel 90.

Who Is on the Pole for Today’s NASCAR Race?

Tyler Reddick will start on the pole in the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota.

He secured the position with a lap of 29.054 seconds at 131.094 mph, narrowly beating Josh Berry by 0.015 seconds. It is his first track pole at New Hampshire and his 15th career Cup pole.

“I just tried to understand what I didn’t like on my car in practice, make sure I didn’t tap into that at all in the lap, and just tried to make the most of what I thought our strengths were in practice. I was just kind of able to tie it all together and run a really relaxing qualifying lap,” he said.
