The trailer for the new season of Slow Horses has been released!
On Tuesday (August 18), Apple TV debuted the first trailer for the upcoming sixth season of the espionage drama series led by Gary Oldman and Jack Lowdon.
Here’s the synopsis:
Slow Horses is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known unaffectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes and who frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.
Apple TV has also announced that Olivia Cooke will be back for the new season as Sid Baker, an agent who was believed to have died back in the first season.
The cast also includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlen, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Bryce, and Hugo Weaving.
The highly anticipated six-episode sixth season of Slow Horses will premiere globally on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly until October 21, 2026.
