The police are sharing new details following the death of The Challenge winner Tyler Duckworth.
If you didn’t see the sad news, it was revealed that the reality star, who won two seasons of the MTV competition series, died on Tuesday (August 11) just before noon in North Dakota after he was found “unresponsive in his bathroom.” He was 44-years-old.
While speaking with People on Friday (August 14), the Grand Forks Police Department revealed that Tyler had been found dead in his apartment after they received a report from downstairs neighbors of water coming through the ceiling.
Officials were dispatched to Tyler‘s apartment at roughly 11:45am on Tuesday and when they made entry into his apartment, they confirmed that the water coming through the ceiling was coming from the bathtub in his bathroom. That was also where his body was found.
Police said it was unclear how long Tyler had been deceased, but noted that he was seen the day before. Officers also said that there didn’t appear to be any sign of foul play or a suspicious death.
Tyler‘s cause of death is “pending the results of an autopsy” and a toxicology report will also be conducted, which police said can take between 10-12 weeks.
