Heated Rivalry is expanding its cast for Season 2!
The hit queer hockey drama is preparing to begin production on its second season, which will continue the story of Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) while introducing several characters from Rachel Reid‘s Game Changers book series.
Seven actors have now been announced as new additions to the cast, including Charlie Gillespie and Justice Smith, who are set to play major roles in the upcoming season.
Season 2 will primarily adapt The Long Game, the sixth novel in the series, while creator Jacob Tierney has said that Role Model will also serve as a source material. The latest casting announcements suggest Tough Guy will also factor into the season, per THR.
The show is aiming for a Spring 2027 release, with production said to be starting this month in Canada.
