Whitney Leavitt is returning to Broadway after a record-breaking run in the musical Chicago earlier this year!
The 33-year-old reality star, best known for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Dancing With the Stars, is joining the cast of Just in Time for a limited run as Sandra Dee.
Whitney will play a six-week engagement in the musical beginning on Tuesday, December 1, 2026 through Sunday, January 10, 2027.
Whitney made her Broadway debut earlier this year, playing Roxie Hart in the long-running musical Chicago. She helped the show achieve its highest-grossing weeks of all time thanks to the incredible demand for tickets during her run.
“I got an audition for the role [of Sandra Dee],” she told People. “We did it, we studied hard, and here we are. And I cannot wait to be a part of that show.”
She also teased the possibility of staying for an extended run, saying, “A lot of times you have a runtime, and then you get to decide, ‘Do you want to stay or do you want to go?’ I think it’s too hard to tell right now. I don’t know what’s going to be going on in my life. But I’ll for sure at least be there for six weeks.”
Just in Time currently stars Jeremy Jordan in the role of Bobby Darin. It’s “an exhilarating new musical that will transport audiences into an intimate, swinging nightclub complete with a live band, a stellar ensemble cast, and iconic Bobby Darin hits including ‘Beyond the Sea,’ ‘Mack the Knife,’ ‘Splish Splash,’ and ‘Dream Lover.’ Discover the man behind the music who pushed back against the record labels to chart a new course for himself on the charts – a once-in-a-lifetime talent who knew his time was limited and was determined to make a splash before it was too late.”
