The 43-year-old Australian model made an appearance on Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, where she discussed how she came to the strict diet she now maintains.

Miranda Kerr Opens Up About Living With IBS

“I love food, but when I got sick, I had to learn even more that food is medicine. And so I love to have nutritious and delicious foods, like, that feed my soul. But at the same time I don’t crave unhealthy food anymore because I know how detrimental that can be to my body on the inside,” she explained.

She’s been drinking “noni juice” since the age of 13., which hails from Tahiti and is made with super fruits.

“It has a lot of vitamins and minerals. I have a 30ml shot, my little baby has some as well. He’s like, ‘Noni?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, have some noni.’ My teenager is not into it but anyway that’s being a teenager right now, and then I have so then I have a marshmallow tea because that’s good for the gut lining,” she said.

Miranda said she also has “a few tablespoons of coconut yogurt” with local honey, and a “bite of a banana” before her Fabula brand coffee with coconut milk from Erewhon, sweetening it with maple syrup.

During the conversation, Miranda revealed the other food items she does and doesn’t eat.

The Foods Miranda Kerr Won’t Eat

“For me personally, no dairy, no wheat and no eggs. And then I’m very specific about the oils. So only cooking with coconut oil or avocado oil, no seed oils. Olive oil is okay on salads, but not to cook with,” she explained.

“I don’t do eggs,” she said, as Kristin asked what a breakfast is for her.

What Miranda Kerr Eats in a Typical Day

“I do protein. So I eat meats like venison, bison, lamb. I eat all the meats that aren’t mass-produced,” she asid, as Kristin asked if she’s eating sushi.

“Oh, never,” she said, adding: “Parasites.” (She did admit she loves caviar, and she has a “little” salmon, “but not too much because of the mercury that’s in salmon.”)

“No, there’s no parasites. It is good for you, isn’t it? It’s like good fat. Personally, no dairy, no wheat,” she went on to say, adding that she won’t eat sourdough.

“Will you do rice? Do you do any carbs?” Kristin asked.

“I really eat a lot of squash. And carrots. And parsnips. I don’t eat kale,” Miranda said, adding that she won’t eat spinach.
