Madonna is on top once more.

The 67-year-old “I Feel So Free” Queen of Pop scored the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Confessions II, the chart company confirmed Sunday (July 12).

The album, featuring songs like “Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter, “Danceteria” and “Love Sensation,” moved 134,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in its debut week according to Luminate, making it the biggest dance album of 2026 thus far.

It’s Madonna’s biggest streaming week ever for an album, and her biggest pure album sales week in over a decade.

The album sold 114,000 units, marking her best sales week since 2012, and 19,000 units on-demand streams, her largest streaming week ever for an album.

This is her 10th No. 1 album overall, making her the first artist in history to have a No. 1 album in the 2020s and three other decades. (She’s had three No. 1 albums in the ’80s, four in the ’00s, and two in the ‘10s.)

It’s also her 24th Top 10 album overall.

Madonna is now only the fourth act in history to have at least 10 No. 1 albums each on the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, per Billboard. She’s the third woman in history to score ten No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, joining Barbra Streisand and Taylor Swift.
