Vera Wang goes blond for her 77th birthday in white halter gown

Vera Wang lightened up for her birthday.

The designer rang in her 77th over the weekend, sharing a collection of photos from a glamorous Paris celebration — one that came with a blunt-cut blond wig.

She paired the ‘do with a white jersey halter gown, ruched below the hips with a softly gathered skirt.

Her celebration unfolded at the Plaza Athénée, the same Paris hotel where she rang in 76.

The wig was styled poker-straight and cropped just below her shoulders — a striking transformation from her usual long, dark hair.

Wang had previewed the look a week earlier, posting a Paris snap in the same honey-blond style and settling the speculation in her comments: “😌👏🙏🙃 FAUX!!!!!!”

The party unfolded at the Plaza Athénée, where an opulent white cake arrived crowned with candles, sparklers and an ornate, floral-sprigged “77.”

Sharon Stone weighed in on one of the carousels: “Congrats honey sorry i couldn’t stay PSSST the hair is smokin 😍,” the actress wrote — a repeat performance after she previously told Wang, then 75, that the rest of us “don’t stand a chance.”

Fans called the blond moment “divine” and “breathtaking” in the comments.

“Happy birthday, radiating light!” one added, while another dubbed the designer a “beautiful chameleon.”

She’s earned the title, turning up platinum blond on the BAFTA Awards red carpet in February and fêting her 73rd birthday with pink streaks in her hair to match her pastel hot pants.

The former Vogue editor has never been one for a low-key birthday look. For her 76th, she flashed a hint of thigh in a black peekaboo gown at the same Paris hotel, and slipped into two slinky gowns for a Rat Pack-themed 75th a year earlier.

Just a few weeks ago, she bared her midriff in a bra top and low-slung skirt at the Fragrance Foundation Awards.

The former competitive figure skater, who has credited her glow to “work, sleep, a vodka cocktail [and] not much sun,” told Page Six last year she has no plans to dial down work or play anytime soon.
