Joan Cusack is returning to the public eye to promote her role as Jessie in Toy Story 5!
The 63-year-old actress stepped out for the UK premiere of the animated Disney film on Thursday (May 28) at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England.
This marked Joan‘s first public appearance in 11 years. She last stepped out for the Sundance Film Festival premiere of The End of the Tour in January 2015.
Also in attendance at the premiere were co-stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Greta Lee, as well as writer and director Andrew Stanton and producer Lindsey Collins.

Joan‘s last on-screen role was a small part in the 2019 holiday rom-com Let It Snow. For the last 15 years, she has taken a step back from Hollywood and has settled down with life in Chicago, where she owns the urban general store Judy Maxwell Home.
Now, Joan is returning to her beloved role as Jessie.
The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Allen), Jessie (Cusack) and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?

You can catch Toy Story 5 in theaters on June 19.
