Bella Hadid is bending the rules with her nearly-naked dress at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
The 29-year-old model wore a sheer, crocheted dress by Schiaparelli while attending the premiere of De Gaulle: Tilting Iron on Wednesday night (May 20) in Cannes, France.
The Cannes Film Festival now has a dress code that bans certain types of dresses, including one that Bella wore in the past. A lot of fashion websites are noting how she seems to be ignoring the rules this year.
Bella chose the Schiaparelli dress and Chopard jewelry for the event. On the carpet, she joined the jewelry brand’s artistic director and co-president, Caroline Scheufele.
The dress had sheer elements and showed off a lot of cleavage in the front. On the back, there was a corseted element with a large bow.
Earlier that day, Bella was spotted stepping out in a vintage Louis Vuitton dress from a collection designed by Marc Jacobs in the early 2000s.
